Health and fitness is my life. It has changed me as an individual. It has been the driving force to being the best I can be.
I’m a certified personal trainer, a performance and corrective exercise specialist, and a sports nutritionist.
I don’t know about you, but I can't think of a better day than one spent outdoors: hiking, running, meditating, and above all, kicking and chasing a soccer ball. Or what I, and a few other billion people, like to call 'football'.
Each day I practice calisthenics, eat healthily and sleep at least 8 hours a night – and then start all over again, the next day and every day after that.
Working with athletes is my forte. I love to maximize their performance in every way, shape and form.
I'm not only referring to professional athletes. If you're reading this, I consider you an athlete. As Bill Bowerman once said, "If you have a body, you are an athlete."
The biggest challenge I face as a sports nutritionist is getting people to believe in the power of proper nutrition. Everyone knows that eating a chocolate bar or devouring a Big Mac will send your organs crying out for help.
What they don't know is how their quality of life can significantly improve when they sprinkle their diet with clean, unprocessed and healthy food, while exercising on a regular basis, of course.
I want to help people believe in the incredibly empowering effects of well-balanced nutrition and daily exercise. I want to instill a desire to consistently lead a sustainable life full of health and happiness. Most importantly, I want to instill the belief of one's power to bring about change. And it all starts with knowledge.
